Blog Reader Appreciation Part 8

With Christmas now being officially "really close," I'm in the same boat as the rest of America.  (That boat being the S.S. Holy Sh*t There's So Much to Do.)  With my holiday to-do list longer than the last five minutes of Sunday's Ravens game, I should have spent the weekend checking things off that list.

But unless "play on Photoshop for hours" was on it, that didn't happen.

I refuse to believe that I am the only one who spent her weekend rolling around in anti-productivity. So this one is for all of you out there, who counter holiday stress by ignoring it completely.  Grab a cup of hot chocolate and settle in because there's something here for you.

No shame there.  Just make sure you've got the right number.

Well then, you and I would get along just fine.

In case you weren't in America this week: it snowed!

The first real snow here in Chicago and it was just as magical as I could have hoped.  After the past five Florida eternal summers, I almost forgot how absolutely marvelous it is to have the Michael Bubl√© Christmas Pandora Station on and snow falling outside the window.

The last time I lived in a state where winter existed, I was in high school.  I'm a sophisticated working woman in the city dating a hard-working, cosmopolitan man now though, so I made sure to respond to the first snowfall as such.

Oh wait, that's right... No I didn't.  Oh well; there's always next snow fall.

What else did I do this weekend?  Well, for one: take a look around at this joint!  Photoshop is officially my new drug of choice.  Once I finished redesigning my blog, I moved on to writing more posts with extravagant graphics and eventually got to the point of writing "Nicole" in rainbow colored paint splatters with a drop shadow and outside glow.

The only thing that could pull me away from my laptop?

You guessed it.

Happy Monday!
No but seriously; Monday means we're one day closer to Christmas.  So happy Monday indeed!

That wasn't you cup of tea?  Maybe one of these will help:
